J. Anne O'Neil, PhD, RN

J. Anne O'Neil has been working in the field of healthcare ethics for over 10 years. Currently she is Adjunct Faculty for the University of St. Francis Physician Assistant Program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has been Executive Director of the Maryland Healthcare Ethics Committee Network and Program Administrator and Instructor for the University of Maryland Masters in Applied and Professional Ethics program. She has also served as a Research Assistant for the American Nurses Association, Center for Ethics and Human Rights and an Instructor at the University of Maryland, School of Nursing for research and nursing ethics. Before beginning her work in ethics she was a pediatric oncology nurse at the Children's Hospital in San Diego, CA.

As she has more fully entered her own elder years, both her professional and personal interests have shifted from pediatrics to elder care in the United States. She may be reached at jannieoneil@earthlink.net.
